#NoFilter is a mission design for a fictive opus of Watch Dog taking place in Japan. My team and I chose to design the last mission of the aforementioned game. I was responsible of the first blackbox of this mission.
Mission Summary:
- Zony Corp. is collecting data on important people due to their new virtual reality headset (that almost everyone has at home).
- The player has to infiltrate their headquarters to destroy the database.
- By doing so, the player understand that he has fallen into a trap and move to the next blackbox to finish his job.
Design Intentions:
- Design the first part of a tight, stressful mission in the universe of Watch Dog;
- Design a building which could be in the landscape of Tokyo while being different enough to pop.
Constraints:
- Time limit (1 month, from ideation to level design);
- Working in a team of 3;
- Coherence between the two Blackboxes and the World;
- Respect the settings (in our case, Tokyo in 2020);
- Respect the franchise’s mechanics, universe and logic.
