Portal 2 Level

Here is the video of a level of Portal 2 realized during my Level Production course during my Level Design year at Campus ADN. The purpose of the exercise was to create an original puzzle with the existing mechanics of the game as well as the limitations of the Portal 2’s level editor.

Design Intentions:

  • Create a HUB-designed puzzle with a linear solution;
  • Having a different gameplay thematic for each room;
  • Exploit an exotic mechanic as a second way to solve a part of the puzzle.

Constraints:

  • Time limit (3 weeks. I worked a total of 13 hours on it);
  • Predefined difficulty level (3/5).
